Hello! I’m Beth, a freelance illustrator based just on the edge of the Peak District in the UK.

Typically my process begins with an on-site sketch or browse through my curated collection of reference images and some good old fashioned research. I then use watercolours and fine liners for those extra little details and a wash of colour to top it off.

I’m a big fan of mountains, large sweeping oceans and drawing lots of itty bitty trees. Illustrating nature, animals, architecture and folk stories are my passion, however I’m open to any subject matter.

I specialise in non fiction, educational and editorial work with some of my most recent projects being for:
